“I Envisage A Gender-based Violence-free Community”

Endouh Anna Yerimah, a Consular Assistant and the CEO of Building Together Consulting: - A platform that bridges the gap between poor farmers/cooperatives in Cameroon with high profile farmers in Cameroon, South Africa and other African countries.


“As a human rights advocate, gender empowerment and community development worker with an MA in International Development option Conflict Management, I founded the Building Together Cameroon NGOs, a women-led platform organisation whose mission is to advance adolescent girls and young women`s rights and education, prevent and respond to Sexual and Gender-based Violence (SGBV), and empower internally displaced women, teenage girls, single mothers in Cameroon.
My association trains them on farming, business, leadership and resilient skills. As a social entrepreneur, I also identify the challenges our adolescent girls and single mothers go through especially in post Covid-19 era and try to solve them. I envisage a Gender-Based Violence-free community, where every adolescent girl and single women is educated on her rights and she is given equal opportunities and resources to reach her full potential.
