Public Administration : Optimal Communication At Government Action Fair

The different ministries and public administrations will expectedly better explain to users and other persons the functioning and innovations in the administrations during the 11th edition of the Government Action Fair (SAGO) that will take place at the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex from June 22- July 1, 2022.  The event will take place on the theme, “The modernisation of Cameroon’s Administration as a major lever for achieving the objectives of National Development Strategy (NDS30).”
Considering the theme of the communication fair, the Ministry of Public Service and Administrative Reform is championing the event that is organised  by the government mandated agent, the consulting firm, “Mon Communicateur.”  Government’s mandated agent, headed by Patrice Assiga Eyene on May 17, 2022 organised a preparatory seminar for the benefit of 100 officials  in  charge of public  communication within the administrations. During the one-day seminar the communication officials were equipped on the challenges of public communication, drilled on the specificities of SAGO 2022 so as to capitalise on the proximity with users-customers that the event offers them. SAGO that started in 2012 is a platform for visibility and popularisation of national policies.
Speaking during the ceremony to open the seminar, the Minister of Public Service and Administrative Reform, Joseph LE said his ministry is championing the event for this year considering the theme. He stressed the importance of the theme stating that hierarchy has instructed that administration should be modernised and  access facilitated  to users.
