Cameroon-Belgium : Expanding Blue, Green Economy

External Relations Minister received Ambassador Franck Felix, Director for Africa at the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on May 19, 2022.
Broadening cooperation ties in the sectors of the blue and green economy between Cameroon and the Kingdom of Belgium came under review on May 19, 2022 at the Ministry of External Relations. This was during an audience the Minister of External Relations, Mbella Mbella granted Ambassador Franck Felix, Director for Africa at the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was accompanied to the audience by the Belgian Ambassador to Cameroon, Eric Jacquemin. The one-hour audience saw personalities review cooperation ties between the two countries with the prospects of strengthening them.
Talking to the press after the audience, Ambassador Franck Felix said Cameroon and Belgium are two friendly countries that have for many years established their embassies in each other’s capital cities. “We discussed relations at the diplomatic level and also at the level of economic, cultural and educational cooperation. With special attention on the economy, we discussed on the possibilities of the blue economy, that is everything that has to do with the marine exportation and shipping. ...
