Bertoua, Ebolowa, Garoua Universities : Board Chairpersons, Rectors Appointed

Everything is being put in place to enable the recently created State Universities of Bertoua, Ebolowa and Garoua to effectively and fully begin in the 2022/2023 academic year.
The Head of State, President Paul Biya in separate decrees on June 3, 2022 appointed the Chairpersons of Governing Boards and Rectors of the universities. In this light, the Chairperson of the Governing Board of  the University of Bertoua is Wongolo Bernad and the pioneer Rector is Etoua Remy Magloire Dieudonné. For the State University of Ebolowa, the Chairperson of the Governing Board is Mvondo Evezo’o Jean Pierre and the Rector is Etoa Etoa Jean Bosco. Finally, the Chairperson of the Governing Board of the State University of Garoua is Souley Daouda and the Rector is Boubakari Oumarou.
The three State Universities were created by Presidential decree on January 5, 2022. During the cabinet meeting of January 27, 2022 presided at by the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute, the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, Professor Jacques Fame Ndongo said that government was fine-tuning all architectural, infrastructural, financial, judicial and managerial measures that will enable the universities go operational.
