MTN Elite One Play-up : Canon Increases Chances

Canon of Yaounde has secured a ticket for the play-offs of the Elite One championship. The Mekok Me Ngonda outplayed Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda 1-0 in one of the delayed day 19 matches in group A that took place at the Douala Reunification Stadium yesterday June 20, 2022.  The encounter was full of spectacular play styles from both teams. The teams portrayed their mastery of the game. At the ninth minute of the first half, there was a beautiful kick from YOSA number 11 shirted player which couldn't find the net. YOSA kept mounting pressure until the 18th minute when there was a foul on Emmanuel Keany Tegemo which led to a free kick which was saved by the Canon goal keeper. 
Player number 23 of Canon found YOSA net at the 30th minute of the first half which gave them the lead. At half time it was one for Canon of Yaounde and zero for YOSA of Bamenda. YOSA dominated the whole of the second half but failed to finalise scoring chances. For the interi...
