The 14th edition of the TotalEnergies African Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) will take place from July 2 to 23, 2022 in Morocco. A total of 12 teams will take part in the competition. Two Moroccan cities, Rabat and Casablanca will play host to the competition. With barely one week to the tournament, the national bilingual daily newspaper, Cameroon Tribune intends to keep her readers abreast with what is happening in and out of the turf. Thus, from Monday July 27, 2022 two special pages titled, “Morocco Here We Come” will be published daily. On the pages, the tabloid is proposing slots like “Lionesses Den”, “Zone Mixte”, “Starting Block”, “Echauffement”, just mention but a few.
The slot “Lionesses’ Den” is destined to provide updates on the Indomitable Lionesses who are currently bracing up for the competition. “Zone Mixte” gives an opportunity for all actors to react on all preparatory activities ahead of the competition.
