World Women’s Military Football Championship : Cameroon Starts On Good Note

The Armed Forces and Police team beat the United States 2-1 in their first outing on Wednesday July 13, 2022 in Spokane, Washington.


The Armed Forces and Police women’s football team has begun the 13th CISM Women’s Football Champion on a good note. They beat the United States 2-1 in their first outing on Wednesday July 13, 2022 in Spokane, Washington. The match counted for the second playing day in group A. 
Cameroon put up a good performance and especially at taking shots, passing and interceptions. Brigitte Yvana Mbomozomo scored the first goal for Cameroon at the 45th minute. The United States equalized two minutes into extra time in the first half through U.S. Army 1st Lt. Haley Roberson, midfielder. During the second half the Armed Forces team continued with their fighting spirit after having a good mastery of their opponents. At 79 minutes, Ebika Tabe Brenda scored the second goal for Cameroon giving her team lead to win the game 2-1.
