Rasheedat Ajibade : Highly Skilled Striker

Rasheedat Ajibade is a highly skilled striker. The 22-year-old striker is carrying the dream of Nigeria at the ongoing Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. She scored the lone goal of the quarterfinal match against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon that took place on Wednesday July 13, 2022 in Casablanca. Her 57th minute goal steered the Super Falcons to the semi-finals of the competition. Not only did Rasheedat Ajibade help her team to reach the semi-finals of the competition, she equally qualified the Super Falcons for the 2023 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. Ajibade’s headed goal against the Indomitable Lionesses was her third goal of the tournament and took Nigeria to eight goals in the competition with only two conceded.
