Cricket Cup of Cameroon : Emergence, Academy Cricket Emerge Winners

Emergence Cricket Club of Yaounde and Academy Cricket Club of Douala emerged winners of the 2022 edition of the Joint Domestic League Cricket Cup of Cameroon tournament that ended in Olembe, Yaounde on Sunday July 10, 2022. Organised by the Cameroon Cricket Federation the competition brought together teams from across the country. The Cup of Cameroon finals marked the end of the 2022 cricket season in Cameroon. The competition unfolded in the senior men and women’s categories. 
At the end of the competition, Emergence Cricket Ladies beat Pioneers Ladies 54-48 innings. In the men’s category, Academy Cricket Club of Douala beat Spartans Cricket Club of Etouge-Ebe 101-73 innings. Trophies were awarded to players who distinguished themselves in the competition. The trophy for the best female player went to Manidon Ingrid from Emergence Cricket Club of Yaounde. The trophy for the best men’s player went to Bruno Nseke from the Academy Cricket Club of Douala.
