Cameroon and France since establishing links at the ambassadorial level in 1960 entertain growing fruitful ties at all levels based on mutual respect and understanding.
Cameroon and France are age-old partners who have evolved together for decades with much to show on the ground in terms of mutually-beneficial gains. Since establishing diplomatic relations at the ambassadorial level in 1960, the two countries have witnessed dynamic relations. The number of Cameroonian nationals holding residence permits or authorisations in France is estimated at 60,000.
