North West Regional Assembly : British High Commission Appreciates Path Covered

The visiting diplomatic team was updated on community-based approach to rebrand the region with international and national partners in the domain of decentralisation.
The path covered by the pioneer North West Regional Executive Council since inception was topical in Bamenda on August 9, 2022 when a visiting team from the British High Commission went sizing up the progress report with a stated preparedness to exchange ideas to move the region forward in peace and partnership for development. The Deputy High Commissioner, Nigel Holmes and the Second Secretary Political, Sam Noble retired from Bamenda after the presentation of a progress report featuring the Regional Executive Council as a new institution that has taken root to rebrand the region and fast - track a return to normalcy with community-based projects in the face of the ongoing socio-political challenges.
The President of the Regional Executive Council, Prof. Fru III Angwafor told the British diplomats about the dire need for international and national partners to help deliver on their mission in a region whose uniqueness in wealth creation is only built on an informal economy and inhabitants who showcase strength with character in their culture. It emerged from the presentation that the institution is working to deliver on projects that can change the lives of people and communities.
