Tennis Cup of Cameroon : Finals Tomorrow

It will be an exacting weekend for lovers of tennis in the capital city and beyond. The 2022 edition of the tennis Cup of Cameroon will take place tomorrow, Saturday August 20, 2022 at the Yaounde Tennis Club in Nlongkak. Organised by the Cameroon Tennis Federation, the competition brings together over 200 athletes from across the country. The competition will unfold in the singles men’s and women’s categories. Diehards of tennis in Yaounde and elsewhere will have another opportunity to discover new techniques in the sport. It will equally be an opportunity to detect talents. 
The Secretary General of FECATENNIS, Jean Marc Njike said the Cup of Cameroon competition began with a qualification phase on Monday August 15, 2022. He explained that for the men’s category, the qualifiers began at the 16th finals while the women’s qualifying tournament began at the eighth finals. Today, Friday August 19, 2022 will be designated for the semi-finals. He said nearly all the ten regions of the country are represented.
