Dr. Mbua Hannah Etonde, South West Regional Delegate for Secondary Education.
Where are we with preparation for the new school year, 2022/2023 in the South West Region?
As far as preparedness is concerned for back-to-school the South West Region is more than 95% ready as far as secondary education is concerned. We started the preparation as soon as Common Entrance and “Concours d’entrée en sixieme” results came out. Of this number only 233 functioned. We think that this year many more will function. We are expecting all our 429 schools to open their doors. We use this opportunity to call on all stakeholders, parents, chiefs and their traditional councils, elites and politicians to ensure that schools that are found in their communities open their doors. Where...
