CHAN 2023 : Intermediate Lions Know Group Opponents

The Intermediate Lions of Cameroon now know their opponents for the group stage of the upcoming TotalEnergies African Nations Championship that will take place in Algeria in 2023. The draw for the competition was conducted at the Boualem Bessaih Opera House in Algiers on Saturday October 1, 2022. 
Cameroon has been drawn in one of the two groups of three nations. According to results of the draw, the Intermediate Lions will play in group E with Niger and Congo who will be featuring in the competition for the fourth time. To qualify for this year’s edition, the Intermediate Lions of Cameroon lost in the first leg and 0-1 and beat Equatorial Guinea 2-1 on aggregate at the Roumde Adjia Stadium in Garoua.
