Cameroon National Prayer Breakfast : 13th Edition Begins Tomorrow

In a press conference yesterday November 10, 2022, Dr Jean Libom Likeng detailed the importance of the gathering which focuses on praying for the nation
“If a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand…” It is on this biblical message from the book of Mark 3:24-25 that the association of Christian elite will be organising the 13th edition of the Cameroon National Prayer Breakfast (CNPB), which will take place from November 12 to 17 nationwide.
Ahead of the event, the President of the CNPB, Rev. Dr. Jean Libom Likeng held a press briefing to present the programme of the edition and the need to urge all Cameroonians to pray for God Almighty, so that all Cameroonians will put an end to behaviours that undermine social cohesion. The President of CNPB said Cameroon is confronted with several crises on the security, health and economic levels. He explained that the profound divisions that are being created daily within the society, requires everybody to stop and meditate on the warning of the Lord in Mark 3:24-25 in which Jesus lays down a clear principle: “a divided kingdom cannot stand; a divided house cannot stand.” With this backdrop, Dr Libom Likeng said this years’ edition of the CNPB will be held on the theme, “National Unity, God’s Requirement for Salvation.”
The man of God revealed that the divisions within the nation are elements of destruction of the common heritage inherited, as stipulated in the country’s motto: Peace-Work-Fatherland.
