African Synergy At 20 : In Perseverance, The Adventure Continues

Pan African non-governmental organisation, African Synergy Against AIDS and Suffering will be 20 years old on November 16, 2022. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the humanitarian association founded by Cameroon’s First Lady, Chantal Biya, a special edition of the magazine “L’Humanitaire au Service des Populations” has been published by the Executive Secretariat of the African Synergy. 
The magazine carries a message from the Founder, Mrs Chantal Biya, highlights some of the activities of African First Ladies over two decades in a bid to alleviate poverty amongst their compatriots, zooms on the International Reference Centre for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Management CIRCB and presents a retrospective view on the creation of the African Synergy during the 32nd OAU Summit by the First Lady of Cameroon. The 30-page magazine also carries a photographic presentation of some 20 international personalities who have visited the headquarters of African Synergy and images of its activities from 2002 to 2022.
In her message, the Founding President, Mrs Chantal Biya, said after 20 years, the adventure to work for humanity will continue. The First Lady said on the occasion of the anniversary, her thoughts go to some of the workers of the early years, who are now gone. “May their memories live forever,” the First Lady underlined. She also thanked those who are still present at her side and who, day after day, continue to contribute to her idea of humanity. To such people she said; “Thank You.” Mrs Chantal Biya revealed that it has been 20 years of a fruitful companionship with her sisters, First Ladies of Africa, to whom she was grateful for their unwavering commitment.
