Miss Cameroon Receives Blessings at Home

This was during her arrival in Douala on November 26, after winning the competition in Yaounde.
Cameroon’s new beauty queen, 22-year-old Marie Princesse Ndom Issie, has been received in Douala, Littoral region, which is her region of origin. Dance groups and some Sawa notables were mobilised to receive the 2023 Miss Cameroon at the Douala International Airport. The finals of the 16th edition of the most prestigious Cameroonian beauty contest was held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the Yaoundé Sports Palace, in the presence of the first lady, Madame Chantal Biya. This annual competition saw 19 young girls who aspired for the beauty crown. Miss Littoral, 22-year-old Marie Princesse Ndom Issie, finally won the Miss Cameroon 2023 crown.
Upon her arrival in Douala on November 26, she paid a courtesy visit to the Bell and Deido chiefdoms, where the kings Jean Yves Eboumbou Douala Manga Bell and Frederic James Ekwalla Essaka all poured royal blessing on her. They wished her the best and asked her to work hard so as to win bigger crowns.
On her part, Marie Princesse Ndom Issie said winning the Miss Cameroon competition was a dream come true.
