Open Golf Charity Elessa Lothin Sen Foundation : Fourth Edition This Weekend

A press conference to mark the kick off of activities took place in Yaounde on Tuesday December 6, 2022.
It will be an exciting weekend for lovers of golf in Yaounde and its environs. The event will be fourth edition of the Open Golf Charity Elessa Lothin Sen Foundation that will take place on Saturday December 10, 2022 at the Yaounde Golf Club. A press conference to mark the kick off of activities took place in Yaounde on Tuesday December 6, 2022. The purpose of the meeting was for organisers to present the format of the competition and explain the objectives. The main objective of this year’s event is to support the weaker branch of the sports discipline notably the cadies. Some 37 golfers; 17 professionals and 20 cadies were present at the meeting. A total of 200 golfers are expected to take part in this year’s event. One of the major innovations for this year is the increase in the prize money with stands at FCFA 7,500,000; FCFA 6,500,000 for professionals and FCFA 1 million for the cadies. No private golf tournament has offered such a money prize.
