CAF Champions League Preparations : Coton Sport Injects New Blood

The Cameroon’s representative in the competition recently announced that four new players have been recruited ahead of the group phase which begins next month.

Cameroon’s representative at the CAF Champions League, Coton Sport of Garoua after picking a deserving qualification to the group phase hope to continue shining on the continent. It is against this backdrop that the Garoua-based club has reinforced its squad by recruiting four new attackers in the January transfer window especially as some pillars like Cameroon’s Ballon d’Or, Marou Souaibou and Felix Oukine have moved to clubs abroad. The four new players including two Nigerians and two Cameroonians were officially made known on Friday January 20, 2023.
Nigerian-born Centre Forward, Moshood Kasali Goma from Warri Wolves after having plied his trade in Sudan is one of the new recruits. The 38-year-old is expected to bring in his huge experience to the club that is hungry for glory. Emmanuel Igboeri is another Nigerian that has been signed in the club coming from Finland. The 24-year-old centre forward is also required to fuel in more energy in Coton Sport’s attack line.
