Children’s Rights : UNICEF Representative Lauds Gov’t Efforts

This was during an audience with the Minister of Land Tenure, Survey and State Property on Monday, February 20, 2023.
The Country Representative of the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund to Cameroon (UNICEF), Nadine Perrault, has lauded government’s efforts in upholding the rights of children in the country. She was speaking on Monday, February 20, 2023 after an audience granted to her by the Minister of Land Tenure, Survey and State Property (MINCAF), Henri Ayissi Eyebe.
After a 30-minute in camera discussion with Minister Henri Eyebe Ayissi, Nadine Perrault said she was honoured to have met the Minister for the first time in person. She was paying a courtesy visit to the Minister to express the gratitude of her organisation after she received a positive reaction for a request regarding the lodging of UNICEF regional offices. The UNICEF representative said the Ministry of Land Tenure, Survey and State Property is vital in managing major property in the country.
