Explosions On Mount Cameroon Race Course : 19 Victims Discharged, One Dead

Some victims of the explosions of improvised devices on the Mount Cameroon Race course last Saturday February 25, 2023 have been discharged from the Buea Regional Hospital. The 19 discharged patients were sent home on Monday 27 February, 2023 in good health. By the evening of Saturday February 25, 2023, the tally of victims had increased to 24. Doctor Martin Mokake, Director of Buea Regional Hospital, explained that the four victims who later joined the 20 victims were all athletes. “They actually partook in the race till the end. They had visual problems but the complications have been cleared off. All those discharged are in good condition,” he told Cameroon Tribune on Tuesday, February 28, 2023.
