Ministry of Finance : Women Urged To Be Assiduous

The esplanade of the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex was the venue of celebrations marking for the 38th edition of the International Women's Day in the Ministry of Finance yesterday March 8, 2023. Shortly after the grand march past at the May 20 Boulevard, the women moved to the venue chosen for the manifestations to begin feasting. It was equally a moment of communion with the hierarchy and with other male colleagues in the different departments of the Ministry. 
Speaking at the occasion, the Minister of Finance, Louis Paul Motaze said the Ministry of Finances will take into consideration the competences of the women and will accord them more responsibilities. He said the Ministry of Finance will ensure a special programme for the upgrading and training of women in the domain of digital technology. “I think when we will do that we would have worked as the Head of State require that is upgrading everyone especially the female labour force which at the level of the Ministry of Finance is competent and committed,” he said.
