Yaounde Parcours Vita : Rehabilitation Envisaged

Created in 1988 and rehabilitated in 2012, the Parcours Vita of Yaounde is a sports infrastructure in the middle of nature specially equipped and secure, intended to welcome the public for a controlled practice of physical, sports and leisure activities. It is constructed at the Febe neigbourhood in the Yaounde II Subdivision on a surface area of 20 hectares and welcomes people from all strata. However, the Yaounde Parcours Vita has in recent years been faced with some difficulties notably lack of finances to meet up with maintenance of the structure, lack of vehicle to facilitate work, porous nature of the site and the presence of obsolete equipment, among others. It is in this light that an ordinary session of the Management Committee of the Yaounde Parcours Vita took place in Yaounde on Wednesday March 15, 2023. The meeting brought together authorities of the Mfoundi Division, partner ministries and other invitees. Wednesday’s meeting was presided over by the Mayor of Yaounde City Council, Luc Messi Atangana who doubles as President of the Management Committee of Yaounde Parcours Vita.
