2023 U17 AFCON : Cadet Lions step Up Training

Ahead of the competition, the players are undergoing training in Yaounde while waiting for the publication of the official list of players.
The 2023 edition of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations will take place in Algeria from April 29 to May 19, 2023. Ahead of the competition, the players of the U17 national men’s football team are undergoing training in their hideout in Yaounde. The team opened camp yesterday March 29, 2023 and will round off on April 15, 2023. The players are training under the supervision of the interim coach, Bertin Ebwelle. The training session comes after the first that took place at the CAF Excellence training centre in Mbakomo last month.
As of now, the official list of players to defend the colours of the country in Algeria has not yet been published. While waiting for the coach to make public his choice of players training is going on as planned. The team trains twice daily to keep the players in top form. The players and the coach are working out winning strategies in order to ensure an honourable performance in Algeria. The current African champions have as objective to retain the title they won in 2019. During their training session, the U17 Lions will play friendly matches with some local clubs.
