2024 University Games : Rendez-vous In Garoua

The 2024 University Games will be staged in the University of Garoua. The information was made public by the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, Professor Jacques Fame Ndongo. This was during his closing remark of the 2023 University Games in Ngaoundere on May 6, 2023. On coming to the closing ceremony, many were eager to know where the next games will be going to. The announcement thus quenched the thirst of many.  “I am very happy and delighted to announce that the University Games of 2024 shall take place in the University of Garoua,” the Minister of State disclosed.
Minister Fame Ndongo, the Rector of the University of Ngaoundere, Uphie Chinje and the Rector of the University of Garoua, Boubakari Oumarou were called up for the rituals of the handing over of the flag and the Olympic Flame. When the Rector of the University of Garoua was handed the flag and Olympic flame, he lifted it with much energy as if to tell the multitude that he is sure of the positive results that Garoua can produce with the golden opportunity.
