CAVB Cameroon 2023 : Local Organising Committee Members Commissioned

The members of the Local Orgainsing Committee of the 21st edition of the African Women’s Volleyball Championship “CAVB Cameroon 2023” have been commissioned into function. The official installation ceremony took place at the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex yesterday May 9, 2023. 
Speaking at the occasion, the Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi said the organisation by Cameroon of the African Senior Women’s Volleyball Championship is a huge challenge both for the new team of the African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) and the Cameroon Volleyball Federation (FECAVOLLEY). He congratulated the new president of FECAVOLLEY, Bello Bourdane, for his election at the helm of the federation and reminded him that he is in charge of assuring the coordination of the activities linked to the upcoming volleyball competition. 
The Minister called on the new president not to be distracted by blackmailers, self-proclaimed leaders and those who want to use all kinds of ploys to maintain their positions, circumventing the law and the recommendations of the Prime Minister, Head of Government as well as the orientations of supervisory authority which nevertheless guarantees public sporting order and cohesion in the national sports movement. “Serenity and harmony must reign in the Cameroonian sports movement.
