Guinness Super League : Lekié Heading For Glory

Day 17 matches of the women’s competition took place in stadiums across the country last weekend.
Lekié FF of Yaounde are heading for glory in the 2022-2023 Guinness Super League championship. This is the outcome of the day 17 matches that took place in stadiums across the country on Saturday, May 13, 2023. In all, five matches were played with a total of seven goals scored, three draws and two victories recorded. Out of the seven goals scored, five were at home and two were away goals. As the competition gradually draws to an end, Lekié Filles continue with their unbeaten run. Lekié FF beat Eding Filles 2-0 in a day 17 match at the Olembe annex A Stadium in Yaounde. Lekié’s goals were scored by Raïssa Mboule and Gisèle Ngah Manga.
The victory puts Lekié FF on top of the league table with 44 points. They are followed by Éclair of Sa’a with 35 points and FC Ebolowa 31 points. Eding Filles on their part are occupying the eighth position with 25 points. From all indications, Lekié FF will fight hard to maintain their leadership position during the remaining four playing days. In Ngaoundere, Ngadeu FFA played a 1-1 draw with Caïman Filles of Douala at the Ndoumbe Oumar Stadium. Brenda Ebobise scored for Caïman Filles in the first half. However, Suzy Laila Bitada equalised for Ngadeu FFA 20 minutes to the end of the game....
