2023 Interpools : Group A Semi-finals Teams Known

Ilse of Hope Sports Academy of  Limbe and Volcan FC of Noun are the two teams in group in A that have moved on to the semi-finals of the ongoing Interpools tournament in Yaounde. Both teams secured their tickets during the day five matches that took place yesterday July 23, 2023 at the Olembe Annex A Stadium. In the first game, ISOHSA FC of Limbe beat Academie Nyom II 3-2 to secure their ticket. ISOHSA’s goals were scored by Tommy Eben (two goals) and the third goal by Albert Tiku Egbe. In the second game, Sporting FC of Maroua beat Volcan of Noun 1-0. This is the second consecutive loss for the West regional representative.  Despite the defeat, Volcan of Noun has equally secured a spot for the semi-finals with just one goal behind the leaders, ISOHSA.  
Bafmeng FC from the North West Region have already qualified for the semi-finals of the ongoing Interpools competition in Yaounde. They beat Ngaoundere FC 1-0 in the day four match in pool B that took place at the Mfandena Annex Stadium 1. The victory came as a sign of relief for the fans as the team has been able to secure a spot to the next round even before the last group game. Bafmeng FC’s goal was scored by Hamlet Godson at the 47th minute through a penalty kick. Earlier, Pouma FC played a 0-0 tie with Olympique of Biwong Bane in the same venue.
