The players are mainly involved in preparations ahead of the new season.
Most Cameroonian female football players, after resting during the holidays, are back to their various clubs and have resumed preparations ahead of the new season. Falone Mefoumetou for example, have gone back to preparations with French Division One side Fleury91. The club resumed trainings recently and hope to better their fourth-place and 39 points performance of the previous season.
In the same French Division One championship, Charlène Meyong has been in top form in her club’s (Stade Reims) pre-season preparations. Meyong scored the lone goal in Stade Reims 1-2 loss against Dijon recently in one of the team’s friendly matches. Also, on Monday August 21, 2023, Chanel Tchaptchet and her club Havre Athletic Club (HAC) women, reportedly began the second phase of their pre-season preparations with a week-long training camp at the Château du Bois Guy Sports Complex. This second phase of preparation comes after three friendly matches against Le Mans, PSG Women and Zulte Waregem. After a great season with Lens (15 goals and 3 assists), Chanel who recently joined HAC Women, is having a good pre-season with her new club.
