Cameroon-Burundi : Minister Prescribes Victory For Lions

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon will play against the Swallows of Burundi in a crucial 2023 AFCON qualifier that will take place on September 12, 2023 in Garoua. A head of this important event, a preparatory meeting took place at the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education in Yaounde on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. The meeting brought together partner ministries and institutions concerned in the organisation of the event. Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi presided over the meeting. 
Speaking at the occasion, the Minister called on the members to work hand-in-gloves to ensure a successful event. The purpose of the meeting was to evaluate the level of preparedness one week to the decisive match. Heads of the subcommittees took turns to present to the minister the state of preparedness of their committees. The different subcommittees assured the Minister of their readiness for the match. At the end of the meeting, the Minister called for unity around the two major objectives which are the successful organisation and a synergy towards the victory of the Indomitable Lions in the decisive encounter.
