2023 Cameroon Cup : Preparations Reach High Gear

Preparations for the 62nd edition of the Cup of Cameroon have reached high gear in the country. The second preparatory meeting took place at the conference room of the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education yesterday September 14, 2023. The Cup of Cameroon equally marks the end of the sports season in Cameroon. The meeting brought together partner ministries and institutions concerned in the organisation of the event. The Secretary General of the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education, Joseph Yerima presided at the meeting on behalf of the Minister. 
Speaking at the opening, the Secretary General called on the members of the organising committee to work hand in glove in order to ensure the best Cup of Cameroon feast. The meeting came on the heels of the first that took place in the same venue on Friday September 8, 2023. Yesterday's meeting aimed at evaluating the level of preparedness one week to the event. The heads of the different subcommittees took turns to present the level of preparations in their committees.
The President of the Infrastructure and Equipment Committee, Pr. Cyrille Tollo said the level of preparation is good. He said there are teams that are  working in the stadium. He said there are teams already doing the painting and those that will do the cleaning are there as well. “We have alre...
