Fovu Baham : Rekindling Hope For The West Region

The boys of Coach Emmanuel Ndoumbe Bosso beat PWD of Bamenda 2-0 in the final of the Cup of Cameroon yesterday September 24, 2023.
If the West Region has any team to be proud of in the 2022/2023 season, it is Fovu of Baham. The boys of Coach Emmanuel Ndoumbe Bosso were crowned winners of the 62nd edition of the Cup of Cameroon after they beat PWD of Bamenda 2-0 in the final to lift the prestigious trophy. It was the third time Fovu is winning the trophy after they won in 2001 and 2010. The third trophy is proof of hard work and determination to make the West Region proud. From the victory Fovu of Baham stands out as the most titled team in the West Region.
Created in 1978, the goal of Fovu this year was to lift the trophy for the third time. That is exactly what they did. Coach Emmanuel Ndpoumbe Bosso who took over from Guy Bertin Djiepnang capitalised on the experiences of defenders like Ngando Eheck, Jeff Nana Ngongang, midfielders Leonel Ntebeu, Chatelain Mouafo and especially attackers like Mohammed Aboubakar, Palis Dzomene and Armel Lionel Ngondi.
