MTN Elite One : Apejes, YOSA End In Stalemate

The group B game counting for day-two played yesterday at the Olembe Annexe A Stadium concluded on a 1-1 tie.
Apejes of Mfou have recorded their second draw in the ongoing MTN Elite One championship. This is after the 1-1 tie against Yong Sport Academy (YOSA) of Bamenda yesterday October 8, 2023. The group B game counting for the second playing day of the championship was played at the Olembe Annex A Stadium.
Apejes who had recorded a 0-0 draw against Fovu on the first playing day were hungry to make a difference but met a steadfast team from Bamenda. On the other hand, the Yellow sub marines from Bamenda, that were exempted in the first playing day, had the eagerness to start on a positive note but the realities on the pitch were different.
YOSA globally dominated the first half and controlled the tempo of the game. Reason why, they got an early lead through team captain, Tchindo John Bosco at the 15th minute. The YOSA boys tried to widen the gap, but failed in the first 45 minutes.
On return from the lockers, it was a different ball game. The coordination and determination of the Apejes team showed that Coach Herve Diane Ninkeu had cautioned them on the dangers of losing precious points in the early days of the championship.
