It is now official. Cameroonian-born NBA star, Joel Embiid who had the option of playing for three countries including, his home country, Cameroon, USA and France has made his decision. He made it public on Thursday October 5, 2023 that he has chosen the United States of America (USA) for the 2024 Olympic basketball tournament. “It was difficult. Obviously, I like all three options," Embiid said adding that, "I love my country, I love it very much. But I really wanted to play in the Olympics. That's my goal and my dream....
