University : Partnership for Improved Teaching and Learning

A memorandum of understanding between Saint Jerome Institute and CY Cergy University was signed on Friday October 13 in Douala.
The Saint Jerome Catholic Institute Douala has signed a partnership agreement with the CY Cergy University in Paris (France). The partnership ceremony took place on October 13 at the Catholic University Institute of Saint Jerome in Douala. During the signing ceremony, the general administrator of Saint Jerome, Dr. Samuel Pohowe, said they were out to provide quality education and training. For him, the partnership agreement will improve the teaching and learning conditions of both University. He thank the CY Cergy University for their trust and confidence.
On his part, the president of the CY Cergy University, Laurent Gatineau, said they were happy to sign the partnership as both institutions have the same objectives. He said they were ready to exchange expertise and knowledge to provide the necessary skills to those seeking knowledge in their institutions. He added that before the official signing of the partnership, they have been working with the Catholic Institute of Saint Jerome for some years, and some students have been able to pursue thier education in France as a result of the partnership. He said many more good things will follow in the future to foster the partnership ties.
