Healthcare Corporation : China Donates To Chantal Biya Foundation

His Excellency Ambassador Wang Yingwu yesterday, November 29, 2023 in Yaounde handed over a consignment of gifts to the health structure.
To express the friendship and solidarity of the Chinese people towards the Cameroonian people, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Cameroon has offered a consignment of health equipment, cleaning kits and food items to the elderly and disabled people in society. The gifts, amongst which manual wheelchairs, axillary crutches and white sticks are destined for vulnerable persons under the care of the Chantal Biya Foundation (CBF). The official handover and reception ceremony of the said equipment between the two parties took place on November 29, 2023 at the Chinese Embassy in Cameroon. The Ambassador of China to Cameroon, Wang Yingwu, personally handed over the materials to the Secretary General of the Chantal Biya Foundation, Habissou Bidoung.
During the event, the fruitful cooperation ties between China and the government of Cameroon were underscored. His Excellency Wang Yingwu said his country appreciates its “fruitful cooperation in different domains with the Government of Cameroon. As well as the excellent cooperation with the CBF.” The Chinese Ambassador to Cameroon was glad to be part of those who have joined the CBF to give a helping hand to the vulnerable population in the country especially the physically challenged and orphans.
He underscored that the gesture, aimed at reinforcing the cooperation between Cameroon and the People’s Republic of China as well as to assist the First Lady of Cameroon in her efforts to alleviate the sufferings of vulnerable persons in society. The Chinese Diplomat also noted that the gifts are also destined to give hope for a better life to those in difficult life situations. Given that it is the end of another year, he transmitted his best wishes to the Cameroonian population and particularly to those in challenging life situation.
