Warm Up : Teams Announcing Final Lists

The CAF Organising Committee of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations had announced that the final squads for the Tournament will comprise of 27 players, from the initial 23 of previous events. The deadline for the submission of the final squads for the tournament is January 3, 2024, exactly ten days to the opening match. Some of the qualified teams have already submitted their final lists to CAF while others are yet to do so. 
Burkina Faso coach, Hubert Velud has published a list of 27 players who will represent the country in the 2023 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire. The list was made public on Friday December 22, 2023. Burkina Faso are placed in group D alongside Algeria, Angola and Mauritania. Mozambique will make their fifth TotalEnergies African Cup of Nations appearance Coach Chiquinho Conde has named the 23 players who will represent Mozambique at the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations, Ivory Coast 2023. The Mozambican team finds itself in group B alongside Egypt, Ghana and Cape Verde. 
Namibia will be participating in the AFCON for the fourth time. The head coach, Colin Benjamin has unveiled a list of 28 players who will defend the colours of the Brave Warriors in the AFCON in Côte d’Ivoire. The Brave Warriors are in group E with South Africa, Tunisia and Mali. Angola has also published the list of 23 players for the 2023 AFCON in Côte d’Ivoire. Lodged in group D with Algeria, Burkina Faso and Mauritania, the Palancras Negras will not be going to Côte d’Ivoire with the favourites like Ivan Calvaho and Clinton Mata.
