Having presented her lettres of credence to the President of the Republic on December 29, 2023, Lorraine Janel Anderson has all the full powers to pilot diplomatic relations between Yaounde and Ottawa, in her capacity as Canadian High Commissioner to Cameroon. She is a legal mind with an educational background in political science. Born on October 7, 1971 in Toronto, Canada, Lorraine Anderson began her professional career in 2005 at the Attorney General's Office of the Province of Ontario, where she served till 2008. In 2009, she gained admission into the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.
