West : Foundation Tchatchouang Supports The Vulnerable

A benevolent association, known as Foundation Tchhatchouang, has offered Christmas gifts to children of orphanages and internally displaced children from North West and South West regions, living in the Koung-Khi division of the West region. The items handed to over 3,000 children during a ceremony that held at the Moucha village in Djebem Subdivision, Koung-Khi division, on 22, December, 2023, included bags of rice, cartons of laundry soaps, cartons of table oil, bags of salt, bags of maize, and Christmas tolls. The ceremony was chaired by the Divisional Delegate of Social Affiars for Koung-Khi.
Presenting the gifts to the over 3,000 children, the President of Foundation Tchachouang, Chief Tchachouang Paul of Moucha village, said his movement is social and philanthropic association created some ten years ago to help the needy. He said since ten years, the association has carried out philanthropic activities annually in various orphanages and health facilities in Koung-Khi division. Talking about his Foundation, he revealed that when he was elected into the Senate some 10 years ago, he thought about the wellbeing of the vulnerable and then took the imitative to create the foundation, that will give him the opportunity to give cheerfully to the needy, without any political influence or motivation.
Chief Tchatchouang said proof of his association being apolitical is the fact that all his beneficiaries are children below voting ages. He stressed that since ten years, he has assisted orphans in various orphanages ...
