National VTT Chantal Biya Cycling Race : First Lady Gives Approval

The national VTT race will henceforth be officially called National VTT Chantal Biya Cycling Race. The Minister of Public Service and Administrative Reforms, Joseph LE made the announcement yesterday March 6, 2024 during the sixth preparatory meeting ahead of the first edition of the National VTT Chantal Biya Cycling Race that will take place from March 28 to 30, 2024 in Bagofit Sun City in the Upper Nyong Division of the East Region. Also present at the meeting was the President of the Cameroon Cycling Federation, Honoré Yossi. 
Speaking at the occasion Minister Joseph LE, elite of the East Region and promoter of the event expressed joy with the approval of the First Lady, Chantal Biya as matron of the competition and has accepted that structures like the Chantal Biya Foundation, Chantal Biya Research Institute (CHRACERH), Long Rich as well as the Paul Biya Technology Excellence Centre (IAI) be associated in the race as well as other partners. This, according to the Minister comes as great news to the organisers of the competition. Minister Joseph LE called on the organisers to put together their energies and experiences so that the competition will go on smoothly. He used the occasion to thank the First Lady for associating not only her name, but all the structures that work for her social actions. Minister Joseph LE, insisted that the key to the success of the event is good collaboration between all the concerned actors.
