Presbyterian Church : CWF Bonamoussadi Gets Exco Members

The members of the executive that were voted into office on March 20 will lead the movement for the next five years.


Members of the Christian Women Fellowship (CWF) movement of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon, Bonamoussadi, have elected an executive committee to run the affairs of the movement for the next five years. The new executive members were elected on 20 March at the PCC premises in Bonamoussadi. The CWF movement is considered to be the strongest movement in the PCC, with a growing membership. CWF Bonamoussadi boasts more than 400 active members. The election, which took place on Wednesday 20 March, followed the church calendar and was presided over by the CWF chaplain, Rev. Bame Samuel Nji, who urged the women to serve and not be served.
Drawing inspiration from Mark 10: 35-45, he urged the women to be humble in their service. He reminded them that church leadership is not circular and as such they should serve with the humility of Christ. The new executive, led by Mrs Maboh Doreen, has a mandate to ensure that the women grow spiritually and to promote the work of the Women's Work Department of the PCC.
