FENASSCO League “A” Games : Teachers Of South West Wins Minister’s Cup

They defeated the staff of the Ministry of Secondary Education by 5 goals to zero at the Limbe Centenary Stadium in male category.

The 24th edition of the National FENASSCO League “A” games kicked off yesterday April 2, 2024, in Limbe with teachers from the South West Region crowned champions of the Minister of Secondary Education Cup. They defeated the staff of the Ministry of Secondary Education in the final.  The game, played at the Limbe Centenary Stadium, saw South West Region scored five goals against zero for their colleagues in the Ministry. In handball women, South West Region defeated Centre Region by 12 goals to 10. The game was played at Government Bilingual High School Limbe. The Minister’s cup meant for staff of Secondary education has opened the way for students to begin competing today.
The games that opened yesterday was announced with a sport walk throughout the town of Limbe where athletes from the 10 regions of Cameroon chanted songs of victory indicating their presence. The sport walk culminated at Government High School Limbe. At hand were two Ministers: Prof. Nalova Lyonga of Secondary Education and Prof Prof. Narcisse Mouelle Kombi, Minister of Sports and Physical Education.
