National Police : Deceased Commissioner Ayuketah Gets Military Honours
South West Regional Delegate for National Security represented the Police Boss to lead a ceremony of adieu to late Commissioner of Police, Enowbawa Alfred Ayuketah.
Sixty-seven-year-old retired Police Commissioner Enowbawa Alfred Ayuketah who died recently was interred in his home village of Besongabang in Mamfe Sub-Division (Manyu Division) in the South West Region on 20 April, 2024.
Prior to his burial, the deceased was given last military honours in strict Police tradition in the South West Regional capital, Buea, on 19 April, 2024. The funeral ceremonial was overseen by the South West Regional Police Boss, Commissioner Loa-Hegba Agai, who represented the Delegate General for National Security (DGNS).
Amidst former colleagues, friends, mourners and sympathisers who trooped at the Mobile Police (GMI) esplanade in Buea, the Police protocol ensured the solemn entry of the remains of Ayuketah on the cart with a background rhythm of music.
