International Cycling Tour of Cameroon : Itinerary Disclosed

The official route of the race was made public during an Executive Board Meeting of the Cameroon Cycling Federation on Saturday May 11, 2024 in Yaounde.


Less than one month to the kick off of the 20th edition of the International cycling Tour of Cameroon, organisers have unveiled the itinerary of the race. The official route of the International Cycling Tour was made public during an Executive Board Meeting of the Cameroon Cycling Federation (FECACYCLISME) that took place on Saturday May 11, 2024 in Yaounde. 
After presenting a report on the recent working visit by the President of FECACYCLISME and his close collaborators to the regions and towns concerned, the Executive Bureau adopted and confirmed the proposed course of the 2024 edition of the International Cycling Tour of Cameroon. The race will cross no fewer than six regions of Cameroon and will comprise nine stages. As innovations, the event will begin in the Far North Region, after more than ten years of interruption for obvious reasons, with the presentation ceremony of the participating teams at the Maroua Ceremonial Ground on May 29, 2024, then will continue with the first new stage between Maroua-Mora-Maroua (131 km) on May 30, 2024. 
The second stage Figuil-Maroua (102.7 km) will take place on June 1, 2024, the third will be in Garoua with a closed circuit race of 97.2km on June 2, 2024, the fourth stage Bangangté-Foumbot-Bafoussam (83 km) on June 4, 2024 2024. The fifth stage Ba...
