Made in Cameroon SMEs: Encouraged To Redouble Efforts

Small and Medium-size Enterprises (SMEs) and Small and Medium-size Industries (SMIs) producing Made in Cameroon products have been urged not to relent in their efforts to produce and promote the Made in Cameroon brand. The call was made on Friday, May 10, during the closing ceremony of a four-day open promotional event organised by the Douala City Council (DCC). For four days, stakeholders in Small and Medium-size Enterprises and Small and Medium-size Industries - SMEs/SMIs producing Made in Cameroon - were engaged in B2B meetings, networking, partnerships just to name a few.
They were also out to exhibit their products and showcase their talents to potential buyers and partners. The first edition of the Promotional Days was held under the theme "Made in Cameroon and the valorisation of local Small and Medium-size Enterprises and Industries". It aims to increase the visibility of Made in Cameroon products and services among national and international consumers, and to promote the link between Cameroonian SMEs/SMIs and potential buyers, investors and partners. As well as to stimulate the creation of partnerships and collaborations between Cameroonian SMEs/SMIs. It is worth mentioning that the DCC is more committed to promoting entrepreneurship and innovation within Cameroonian SMEs/SMIs as they contribute to the diversification of the Cameroonian economy and reduce dependence on imports.
