CGCE 2024 : Session Secondary Education Minister Supervises Examinations

She also inspected equipment of the CGCEB, the institution charge with the organisation of the examinations in the South West on May 30,2024.


Prof. Nalova Lyonga, Minister of Secondary Education, has appreciated the conduct of the 2024 session of examinations organised by the Cameroon General Certificate of Education Board (CGCEB). She was in Fako Division of the South West Region where she supervised the examination on May 30, 2024 in Buea, Mutengene and Tiko. Beginning at 8 am, she started the supervision at Baptist High School Buea then moved to Government Bilingual High School Mutengene and then Christ the King College Tiko. Throughout her visits, the candidates were busy putting pen on paper. A stop was also made at St. Mary’s College Mudeka where the institution was presented to the Minister. In all, there are 44, 074 candidates for the Cameroon General Certificate of Education (O/L and A/L) taking the examination in the South West Region.
The Minister of Secondary Education also visited the head office of the Cameroon General Certificate of Education Board located in Buea. She was welcomed by Ndi Bernadette Frinwie Ntemna, Head of the CGCEB Transition Management Team. The Minister had an in-camera working session in the Registrar’s Office with top management of the Board and Board Members headed by Board Chair Prof. Leke Tambo.
