Quality, Hygiene, Safety, Health and Environment : Risk Management in Business on Scanner

This was the outcome of a two-day forum that opened in Douala on 30 May 2024.

 

The 6th edition of the National Forum on Quality, Hygiene, Safety, Health and Environment has opened in Douala with a call for business owners to employ experts in the field to ensure the sustainability of their businesses.
The forum, which opened on 30 May and ran until 31 May, had as its theme "Risk Management in Business" The forum was organized by the Go Ahead Africa Ltd in partnership with ESQESE of the Catholic Universities of Lyon, Paris and Toulouse (France) had as main objectives to raise awareness and train participants while providing them with feedback from companies and national and international experts already involved in the approaches.
The Forum is a platform for exchange, training and thematic workshops led by internationally renowned experts. According to the Chief Organizer and Founder of Go Ahead Africa, Roland Kwemain, they realized that the socio-economic landscape of Cameroon was lacking in risk management, so they wanted to upgrade the skills of companies to upgrade in risk management. He said there are a lot of risks in the various businesses, hence the need to put in place risk management strategies to control, manage and suppress the risks.
