FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup : Cameroon Pooled In Group A

Following the draw results on June 5, 2024, the country will play against host Colombia, Australia and Mexico.

 

The U20 Women's National Football Team of Cameroon is drawn into a challenging Group A for the upcoming FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Colombia, following the draw which took place in Bogota, Colombia, on June 5, 2024. The junior Lionesses will face host nation Colombia, along with Australia and Mexico, in their quest for glory. The tournament kicks off on August 31st and runs till September 22nd, marking the first edition to feature an expanded 24-team format.
Cameroon's World Cup journey begins with a clash against Mexico. Coach Hassan Balla's squad is determined to make their mark and has been preparing diligently for the competition.
Their first training camp ahead of the competition ended on May 31, 2024 at the CAF Excellence Centre in Mbankomo. 24 players were called for the training which began on May 22, 2024.
