Euro 2024 : Quarterfinals Start Today

The teams that will play the quarterfinals of the ongoing Euro 2024 in Germany are known. The eight teams qualified after the round of 16 matches that ended on July 2, 2024 in Germany. The quarterfinals will be played on July 5-6, 2024 in Berlin, Stuttgart, Hamburg and Düsseldorf. Spain will take on hosts Germany in Stuttgart tomorrow July 5, 2024 in the opening game. Spain went behind to an own goal their first goal conceded of the entire finals in their round of 16 match against Georgia, but came up stronger and scored three second-half goals to progress. The Spaniards are out to make fourth Euros semi-finals of the last five tournaments. They will have to beat Germany who are equally out to keep their home victory hopes alive. 
In the second game, Portugal will play against France in Hamburg. It will be a repeat of the 2016 Euro final. Both teams have had a tough road to the quarter-final, having to get through a group containing Austria and Netherlands before facing Belgium and now Portugal. In Düsseldorf, England will clash with Switzerland on July 6, 2024.
