Euro 2024 : Semi-finalists Known

The teams that will play the semi-finals of the Euro 2024 are now known. The last four teams in the competition picked their qualification tickets after quarterfinals matches that ended on Saturday July 6, 2024 in Germany. The semi-finalists are England, France, Netherlands and Spain. England finished as winners of group C with one win and two draws. The talents of forwards like Jude Bellingham, Harry Kane and Phil Foden were seen in all three games. England beat Switzerland 5-3 through penalty kicks after regular time ended 1-1 to reach the semi-final. The Three Lions are a victory away from a second consecutive Euro final.  They will face the Netherlands on July 10, 2024 in Stuttgart. 
France failed to win their group for the first time since Euro 2012, following up a battling win against Austria with draws against the Netherlands and Poland. They remain unbeaten, though, and Kylian Mbappé got off the mark with a penalty in their final Group D game before they edged past Belgium in the round of 16. Spot kick prowess again saw Les Bleus through in the quarter-finals, converting five out of five to avenge their Euro 2016 final defeat by Portugal.
